Reception is open from 7am – 8pm daily, please dial 9 from your room if you require assistance. Should you have an emergency after 8pm dial 9 and your call will be directed appropriately. Please note emergency services, medical, police or fire can be reached by dialing 000

We hate to see you go but check out time is 10am. Please contact reception on extension 9 if you would like to request a late check out.

CONCIERGE

Guest services can assist you with any special requests or information regarding transportation, tours or directions to localattractions.

YOUR ROOM

TOWELS

To help save water simply keep your towels on the hooks and they will not be changed, if you would like them changed please leave them on the floor.

WIFI

Complimentary WiFi is available to all in house guests, please refer to your welcome letter for log in details.

MOVIES

Access all your favourite streaming services straight through your TV. If you require any assistance, please contact reception.

HOUSEKEEPING

Room attendants will service your room daily during your stay, unless you have opted into our Ecostay initiative. Any additional items you require, such as extra linen, pillows, blankets or towels are available from guest services. (Dial 9)

DO NOT DISTURB

If you do not want your room serviced or do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the do not disturb sign on the handle outside your door. In addition to this you can request that reception block all incoming calls.

SECURITY

We strongly encourage our guests to lock all doors and screens at night and when you are away from your room. The Continental Hotel is not responsible for any loss of property.

SMOKING

The Continental Hotel rooms, internal areas, balconies and pool areas are designated non smoking and charges may apply for non compliance.

SAFES

Your room is equipped with an in room safe, follow the instructions on the front to operate. All Secured!

AMENITIES

POOL

Our resort has two pools, one located near the alfresco dining of the restaurant and the other located near the 600 rooms. Pool towels are available at reception and they are for hotel pool use only – not to be taken off the property.

There is no lifeguard on duty so all precautions must be taken for your own safety. Our pools can be accessed from 8am until sunset.

The pool surrounds may be slippery when wet, please do not run in the area. If you have a medical condition please seek advice from your doctor before using the pool facilities.

Children under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times by an adult. Food and drink are permitted around the pool.

Please do not take glass or bottles into the pool area.

We request that guests do not use the bathroom towels in the pool area, Pool towels are obtained from reception.

LAUNDRY

Keep fresh, our coin operated washers and dryers are located near the 700 rooms, locate on your guest map or call reception for assistance. Our reception team are happy to swap notes for coins and laundry detergent is available from reception.

FIRE SAFETY

The Continental Hotel is fully equipped with modern fire prevention and fire fighting systems. Regular fire drills are held with our staff. We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the evacuation notice in your room and locate your nearest fire exit and assembly area.

CYCLONE WARNINGS

In the event of a cyclone you will receive verbal notification from the duty manager and a formal letter stating the current situation. The following information details the various cyclone alert levels in Broome.

ADVICE – the cyclone has turned and may affect the area within 48 hours. Strong windsare not yet a direct threat, however take precautions.

WATCH AND ACT – The cyclone is moving closer and it appears inevitable that it will pass over the area in 12 hours.

EMERGENCY WARNING – The cyclone is moving closer to our area, take shelter immediately, management will constantly update and notify guests of actions required.
